A mother and baby manatee, a happy shark, a sea turtle, and some tropical fish swim along the walls of this six year old's bedroom!

Once the fabric designer finishes decorating I will post the room's final look.

The Process

The little boy chose these sea animals to be in his room. I then photographed the room and designed the animals and look of the room, including the waves on the wall. I then posted the images online for his mom to see and approve.

Next I painted each of the four large animals on canvas, and cut the canvas to the shape of the animal. I also posted the progress of the manatees and shark online so they could see how it was proceeding.

Finally, I went to the house yesterday. The walls and waves were painted before hand by the owner, to save time and money. Then I simply pasted the animals on the wall just like wallpaper, and painted some sea grass, bubbles, a few tropical fish and a seahorse directly on the wall.

The total amount of time I was at the house was 4hrs
