INDIA PAVILION was the very first Indian restaurant in Cambridge!
Another thanks to everyone who knocked on the windows to give me a thumbs up or a nod while I was working. You all made my day(s)! And a big thanks to my wife, Andrea, for making it all possible. It's nice to see you again!
It took me two and a half weeks to complete all 18 sections of this mural. Each one was painted using acrylic paint. The images come from a variety of sources and eras throughout Indian history.
This was a great time, I will be visiting the paintings as well as my new friends who work at India Pavilion. The food is SOOOO good there, and the people are wonderful too.
When you're finished eating and looking at the murals, take a walk up the street a few blocks across Mass Ave, and visit Out of the Blue Art Gallery to see some of Cambridges local artists work on display and for sale!!
