The Custom Mural Process - Pricing 2

Pricing follows the three phase custom mural process below.  For most projects, I quote a fixed amount with payment terms written into a short contract.

The Project Phase Time Charges Other Charges
Consultation None. None.
Design Research and design. Sketching materials.
Artwork (sketches).
Contract proposal for the
Creation Phase.
Misc expenses (mileage and
other materials).
Creation Surface preparation. Surface primer and other supplies
Daily setup (time per session
to set up and tear down).
Daily expenses (typically mileage).
Scaling and transferring design. Paint and other consumable supplies.
Painting.
Sealing. Surface sealer and other supplies.

Consultation Phase

I do not charge for the Consultation Phase which typically consists of 1-2 meetings with you.  After the last consultation, you will receive a price quotation for the Design Phase.

Design Phase

A non-refundable deposit is required to complete the mural design and the contract proposal.  If you decide to go forward with the mural, the deposit is applied to the total cost.

Creation Phase

A fixed cost is charged to create the mural.  The contract proposal includes the total cost and payment schedule.  Cost and time overruns are at my expense.
